With a love of asphalt passed down through 3 generations the Munoz Family has continued year after year to grow and learn the family business.  The family takes pride in providing quality service to all customers. Lupe Munoz Sr. began working in asphalt in the 1970's. He would never look back and in fact would share his love for asphalt with his son Lupe Munoz Jr.

In 1999, Lupe Munoz Jr. & his wife Martina Munoz took the ultimate leap of faith and decided to start their own construction company GMJ Paving. Over the years GMJ Paving began working on parking lots, roads, and highways all around the greater Houston area.  In 2023, GMJ broke ground on their 1st Hot Mix Asphalt Plant which went online in 2024 Q1. GMJ is excited about vertically integrating their operations and looks forward to paving the future.
